On Saturday, November 16, 2019 for 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM CST, IT-AIS will be conducting patching efforts to multiple stage infrastructure databases and application services, primarily those responsible for CatID services. This will result in a three (3) hour window where UNI users will be unable to log into Blackboard Learn, Panopto, and other systems using CatID credentials.
UNI IT will be conducting major upgrade and patching efforts to multiple infrastructure databases and application services, primarily those responsible for CatID services, on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 06:00 AM - 09:00 AM CDT. This will result in a 3 hour window where UNI users may be unable to log into the UNI eLearning Suite of tools (Blackboard Learn, Panopto, Zoom, LinkedIn Learning, etc.)
On Sunday, September 8, 2019 the Adobe Connect application will be UNAVAILABLE to upgrade the Adobe Connect storage system.
On Sunday, September 1, 2019 the Adobe Connect application will be intermittently UNAVAILABLE as Adobe Connect will be upgrading to Adobe Connect 10.5.
On Saturday, August 10, 2019 the Panopto application will be UNAVAILABLE as Panopto will be making a number of updates to the Panopto Cloud infrastructure to increase performance and scalability. These updates will require downtime.
This is scheduled maintenance to the Shibboleth (IDP) application which could impact the sign-on process for eLearning/Blackboard. This will occur on Wednesday 07/17/2019 between 6 AM and 7 AM.
On Saturday, July 13, 2019 the Turnitin application will be UNAVAILABLE for scheduled maintenance. This maintenance will require downtime from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CDT. During this time you will not be able to access Turnitin.
On Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 from 06:00 AM - 06:10 AM CDT, UNI IT will be rebooting the Shibboleth servers to apply important updates. This will result in a 5 - 10 minute window where UNI users may be unable to log into UNI eLearning Suite of Tools (Blackboard Learn, Panopto, etc.).
June 19, 2019 Update from Blackboard Support:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, AWS has cancelled the upgrade to Postgres 9.6.11 for all of their clients at this time. More details will follow when we have more information.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019 the Panopto application will be UNAVAILABLE as the Panopto cloud site will be upgraded to the latest release.. This upgrade will require downtime from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm CDT. During this time you will not be able to access recordings on the Panopto server and any attempts to upload will result in a "Server unable to connect" message.
