On Saturday, July 4, 2020 from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. CDT, Blackboard Ally will be unavailable due to database improvements during this time. During the maintenance window, the Institutional Report, Configuration UI and Course Accessibility Report will be unavailable and the Instructor Feedback and Alternative Formats will not be displayed within courses.
On Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. CDT, the Panopto application will be unavailable for maintenance and improvements. During the downtime, you will not be able to access videos on your Panopto site, and any attempts to upload from recording clients will result in a "Server unable to connect" message.
IT-AIS will be conducting major upgrade and patching efforts to multiple infrastructure databases and application services, primarily those responsible for CatID services, on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 6 AM to 9 AM CST. This will result in a three (3) hour window where UNI users will be unable to log into Blackboard Learn, Panopto, and other systems using CatID credentials.
Blackboard Ally will be unavailable due to maintenance from Friday, January 10, 2020 11:00 PM to Saturday, January 11, 2020 1:00 AM CST. This maintenance entails an upgrade of the underlying Ally database, which can unfortunately not be achieved without downtime. During the maintenance window, the Institutional Report, Configuration UI and Course Accessibility Report will be unavailable and the Instructor Feedback and Alternative Formats will not be displayed within courses.
The Blackboard app and Blackboard Instructor app will be UNAVAILABLE starting Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 9:30 PM CST until Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:30 AM CST for a scheduled maintenance update. Please access Blackboard Learn in a web browser during this five-hour maintenance window. No end-user or system administrator action is required.

UNI IT will be conducting major upgrade and patching efforts to multiple infrastructure databases and application services, primarily those responsible for CatID services, on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 06:00 AM - 09:00 AM CDT. This will result in a 3 hour window where UNI users may be unable to log into the UNI eLearning Suite of tools (Blackboard Learn, Panopto, Zoom, LinkedIn Learning, etc.)
On Sunday, September 8, 2019 the Adobe Connect application will be UNAVAILABLE to upgrade the Adobe Connect storage system.
