On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CDT, the Turnitin application will be UNAVAILABLE for hardware updates and performance improvements. Users will be unable to submit and grade Turnitin assignments during this maintenance window, so please ensure that any submission deadlines are adjusted to fall outside of the window.

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. CDT, Blackboard Learn (eLearning) will be UNAVAILABLE to update Panopto building block which requires a system restart. There are no changes to the Blackboard Learn (eLearning) software.

On Saturday, June 9, 2018 the Panopto application will be UNAVAILABLE to upgrade to Panopto 5.7. This upgrade will require downtime from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm CDT. During this time Panopto will be offline and there will be no access to recordings and any attempts to upload from clients will result in a "Server unable to connect" message.

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System may be UNAVAILABLE while a network configuration change is made to the system. Users are encouraged to NOT take tests or perform other important work in the system during this maintenance period. There are no changes to the Blackboard Learn (eLearning) software.

UNI Faculty: Please join us on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m for a FREE conference, “Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning: Tools, Tricks, and Tips” to highlight the creative and innovative ways that UNI faculty are using technology in teaching and learning. The keynote, Robin Wright, will have a talk titled "Past, Present and Future: Technology Enhanced Classrooms as Catalysts for Evidence-Based Teaching". The conference will be located in the Curris Business Building (CBB) and is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), and IT-Educational Technology and Media Services (ETMS).
