For approximately 12 minutes (~8:58-9:10 a.m. CDT) this morning, Thursday, September 28, 2017, the UNI eLearning (Blackboard Learn) System's database experienced a load spike caused by a bad query from the 'Retention Center' tool that caused the system to be unresponsive. The eLearning Database Admin was able to kill the query until LMS Admins were able to turn off the 'Retention Center' tool in all eLearning courses as a short-term fix. We have filed a ticket with Blackboard Support and will continue to investigate this issue. We apologize for the inconveniences this outage has caused.
