Spring 2014 UNI eLearning academic courses were populated with students at 11:30 AM CST on Monday, December 30, 2013. Spring 2014 student enrollment will be imported into the UNI eLearning System daily, so all enrollment changes (adds/drops) will be automatically processed. Any changes entered in the Student Information System by 5:00 PM will be processed the following day.
UNI Instructors: UNI eLearning courses are created in an "unavailable" state. This means an Instructor has access to the course, but students do not see the course listed in their My Courses module until the instructor makes the course available. Instructions for making your course "available" to students are published at: http://www.uni.edu/elearning/how-do-i-make-my-bb-learn-9-courses-available-students . No action is required for instructors that choose not to use the UNI eLearning System. Note: Courses contracted through Continuing and Distance Education (CDE) will be made available by CDE staff no later than 8:00 AM CST Monday, January 13, 2014.
UNI Students: You will not see a course listed in your My Courses module unless the Instructor has made the eLearning course available.

Any user with an eLearning course role of Instructor or Teaching Assistant will experience a 30 second or longer wait when "entering a Discussion Forum list" or "creating a new Discussion Forum" from that Forum list screen. Instructors and TAs will encounter this issue when performing the following:
- In the "Course Menu", clicking: Tools > Discussion Board
- In the "Course Menu", clicking on a direct tool link to the Discussion Forum list
- In the "Course Management Menu", clicking: Control Panel > Course Tools > Discussion Board > [Forum Title]
Once you have entered the actual Discussion Forum and can view the Discussion Threads, you should be able to view, create, and respond to threads normally.
The UNI eLearning team is investigating the issue and has opened a ticket with Blackboard Support. We apologize for the inconveniences this issue may cause.
Note: Student access to the Discussion Boards is NOT affected by this issue.
