Turnitin experienced intermittent service issues from Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 10:38 p.m. CST through Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12:52 a.m. CST.
Students: If you had a Turnitin assignment that was due during this period, please contact your Instructor.
Instructors: If you had a Turnitin assignment that was due during this period, please extend the "Due date" or "Allow submissions after the due date".

Resolved at 7:04 p.m. CST: The UNI eLearning System should be available as of 7:04 p.m. CST. Due to major network issues that affected most UNI Systems, the UNI eLearning System experienced two unexpected outages this evenings. The first outage occurred from 4:40 p.m. to 5:35 p.m. CST. Another outage occurred from 6:13 p.m. to 7:04 p.m. CST. We apologize for the inconveniences these outages have caused.

Students: If you were in the middle of taking a test/quiz and got "kicked out", please contact your Instructor.

Instructors: If you had a test available from 4:30 p.m. to 7:05 p.m., please allow students that report an issue during that period another test attempt. Information and directions are located at: https://www.uni.edu/elearning/how-do-i-allow-student-another-test-attempt . If the Test Availability period has expired, you may need to use the "Test Availability Exceptions" section in Test Options. For one-on-one assistance with test exceptions, please contact one of our Instructional Designer & Technology Coordinators by calling 273-2309 or emailing idds@uni.edu . If you have other questions about a student's ability to submit assignments, discussion posts, tests, etc., please complete the "Contact eLearning Support" form.

Around 6:13 p.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System experienced another OUTAGE. Network Services staff is continuing to work on the problem.

(Possibly Resolved) UNI eLearning Unexpected OUTAGE beginning @ 4:40 p.m. CST
Update at 5:40 p.m. CST
: ITS Network Services staff continue to investigate an ongoing significant issue with the UNI network which has resulted in intermittent partial and complete outages of most UNI Systems (eLearning, MyUNIverse, UNI websites, etc.). Many systems have come back online; however, Network Services staff is still working to determine the cause and ensure the issues has been fully resolved.

The UNI eLearning System is currently experience an outage due to technical issues (network and/or database related) that are currently being investigated by ITS. We apologize for the inconveniences this outage is causing.

On Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. CDT, access to the UNI eLearning System was unavailable due to an issue that occurred during a scheduled Network Services maintenance. The UNI eLearning System was running; however, users were unable to reach the system. We apologize for the inconveniences this unexpected distruption caused.

Access to the UNI eLearning System is currenlty unavailable due to an issue that occurred during a scheduled Network Services maintenance. The UNI eLearning System was running; however, users are unable to reach the system as well as other UNI services (Email, MyUNIverse, etc.) . We apologize for the inconveniences this unexpected distruption is causing. The Network Services team is working on resolving the issue.

A few reminders for the start of the semester...

All: Login instructions are located at: https://www.uni.edu/elearning/login-instructions-all-uni-users

Instructors: You must make your UNI eLearning course available to students in order for them to have access to it. Information and directions are located at: https://www.uni.edu/elearning/how-do-i-make-my-bb-learn-9-courses-available-students

Students: Use of the UNI eLearning system is based on the instructor's discretion. Although all UNI courses will have an eLearning course, the Instructor must make that course available for students to have access. Students will have access only to the course(s) in which they are officially registered and the Instructor has made the eLearning site available. If you do not see a course listed, please contact the Instructor of the course(s) to see if they are using the UNI eLearning System and if they have made their eLearning course available to students.
