- "Blackboard Learn - Your Class Hub for Remote Teaching" is offered March 31 & April 2, 6, and 7.
Description: Learn to add your syllabus, files, web links, & discussion forums. Get tips on organizing course content. Finally, experience your course from a student perspective and learn easy ways to communicate with students through Bb Learn. Bring a syllabus file.
- "Remote Options to Assess Student Learning" is offered March 27, 30 and 31.
Description: Now that you have a start with teaching remotely, it's time to think about how to assess students remotely. Join us to learn about options available via Blackboard Learn, including integration of Turnitin and Panopto video assignment dropboxes.
Additionally, due to high demand, more Blackboard Learn Testing workshops have been added to the Faculty/Staff Workshop Calendar:
- "Bb04a: Testing 1, 2, 3: Developing, Deploying and Editing an Online Test in Bb Learn" is offered March 27, 30, 31 & April 3 and 8.
Description: Online testing can be used in numerous ways to assess students or to provide a means of self-assessment. Learn the process involved in setup and delivery of online testing in Blackboard Learn and look at several of Blackboard's numerous question types.
- "Bb04b: Putting Bb Learn Online Testing to the Test" is offered March 30 & April 2, 3, and 10.
Description: Experience the student perspective in online testing with Blackboard Learn. We'll discuss online testing obstacles, viewing and analyzing student test results, responding to manually graded questions such as essays, and strategies to help limit cheating.
