A new Blackboard feature allows you to optionally group your courses within their respective terms.
1. To get started, click the gear symbol in the top right corner of "My Courses".
2. Next, check the box "Group by Term".
3. Finally, select which terms you want to show.
Blackboard’s New Responsive Design
Adding a course banner to your Blackboard course can add visual appeal. Course banners can be created fairly easily using Powerpoint. Below is an example of a banner created for use in a course. Please note Blackboard’s recommended image size is approximately 480 by 80 pixels.
With the December 21, 2017 Blackboard Learn upgrade comes several new features and enhancements. Perhaps most noticeable is a new look and feel using responsive design for greater accessibility and a more modern user interface (theme) using color, fonts, and spacing for greater consistency between Blackboard Learn (computer version) and the Blackboard mobile app. While colors in your course will look different, functions and placement of features will remain unchanged.
On Friday, December 30, 2016, the UNI eLearning System was upgraded to "Cumulative Update 2 for Blackboard Learn, 9.1 Q4 2015". Besides over 100 issues resolved, the Q4 2015 release also has the following new features and enhancements:
UNI faculty planning to use the UNI eLearning system for their Fall 2011 courses who want to use an existing course as a template are strongly encouraged to participate in one of the new “Migrating to Bb Learn 9” workshops. During these workshops you will take one of your existing eLearning courses and migrate it to the new Bb Learn 9 system.

Panopto is a classroom capture software that allows you to create, save, search and share rich media presentations instantly with your students. The software can be installed on Mac or Windows machines. All you need is a microphone and a computer to get started.
