If this describes you, then this series of workshops is the perfect solution. These four workshops are offered over the lunch hour on the same day of the week for four weeks. Bb Baby Step 1: Thursday, March 26⋅12:00 – 1:00pm, ITT138

Make Your Syllabus Accessible & Available Online: Learn basics for making Word documents accessible. Spend time making your own syllabus accessible with guidance. Walk through making your syllabus available in Blackboard. This is a perfect opportunity for Blackboard newbies to take your first baby step!

Bb Baby Step 2: Thursday, April 2⋅12:00 – 1:00pm, ITT138

Getting Started with Blackboard Grade Center: Baby step two will address the Blackboard (Bb) Grade Center. We’ll explain the layout, how to create a column for recording scores, setting columns to feed to an automatic "Total" column, and how to learn even more about Bb’s Grade Center.

Bb Baby Step 3: Thursday, April 9⋅12:00 – 1:00pm, ITT138

Using Blackboard to Communicate with Your Students: Learn about Blackboard’s tools for enhancing instructor to student and student to student communication. We’ll get you started with creating announcements, sending email, and setting up discussion forums using Blackboard Learn as your hub.

Adding Content to Your Blackboard Course: In Baby Step 4, you’ll learn a few basic tools for making content and web resources available to students in your Blackboard course. We’ll show you how to create folders to organize your content as well.
