There are two options to utilize the Turnitin Originality Checking service:

Option 1 - submit papers electronically directly to the Turnitin website (www.turnitin.com)

To create or renew a Turnitin instructor account for your course, please submit a Support Form. In the "Description of Problems" box, please type "Requesting a Turnitin Account".

When the account has been created, an email will be sent with account information and directions.

Option 2 - submit papers/assignments in conjunction with your UNI eLearning section(s)

A Turnitin Powerlink is available in UNI eLearning which gives instructors access to Turnitin’s plagiarism prevention within the UNI eLearning environment.

To upload the Turnitin icon into your UNI eLearning section:

1. Right click on the graphic to the right and select "Save Picture As..." or "Save Image As...".
2. Save file to your computer.
3. In your UNI eLearning section under the Build tab, select the action menu next to the icon you would like to change and select "Customize Link".
4. Click the "Replace Icon" button.
5. A new window will appear. Navigate to where you stored the graphic file in Steps 1-2, select the file, and click the Open button.
6. You should return to your eLearning window. Click the Save botton.
